Ortho® Home Defense® Insect Killer for Indoor & Perimeter Refill2 kills common household bugs such as ants, beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, fleas, flies, millipedes, mosquitoes, moths, spiders, stink bugs, ticks, termites, periodical cicadas and more (as listed). This insect killer creates a bug barrier for up to 12 months protection against ants, roaches and spiders indoors on non-porous surfaces. In addition, the Invisi-Shield Technology formula gives off no fumes, dries clear and dries fast. Use this pest control product anytime as a preventative treatment or after you see evidence of insect activity for long lasting-control. Apply indoors in kitchens and bathrooms or around doors and windows, and outdoors to the foundation perimeters, patios, decks, garages and wherever insects are a recurring problem. For indoor surfaces, hold sprayer 12 inches from surface being sprayed and apply a 4-inch wide band, or use a 12-inch wide band when applying to a home perimeter. STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
Prep the Comfort Wand®
- Remove the Comfort Wand® from the original bottle by pulling the plug from the spout on the cap.
- Next remove the side holster from the same original bottle by pulling up on the bottom tab underneath and sliding the holster up.
- Attach the holster to this new Ortho® Home Defense® Insect Killer for Indoor & Perimeter Refill2 bottle by sliding the holster down onto the knob.
- Then insert the hose connector into the spout on the cap.
- Twist knob to "ON."
Spray
- Shake well.
- Turn sprayer nozzle to desired spray pattern and then slide the trigger switch to "UNLOCK."
- Press trigger to spray.
- For indoor surfaces, hold sprayer 12-inches from surface being sprayed and apply a 4-inch wide band along the interior of the home in areas where insects are a recurring problem.
- Spray until slightly wet without soaking.
- For exterior perimeter treatment, also hold the sprayer 12-inches from surface being sprayed and apply a 12-inch wide band along the exterior of the home.
- For treating a pet's resting quarters, spot treat infested areas and localized areas of the floor/floor coverings (rugs, carpets, tile, vinyl, and wood) where pests may be present.
Finish
- Turn nozzle to "OFF."
- Slide switch on trigger to "LOCK."
- Fold the Comfort Wand® closed and place the sprayer back in holster.
WHEN AND WHERE TO USE
Where Not to Use
- Do not spray:
- animals
- into the air
- into fish pools, ponds, streams, or lakes
- directly to sewers or storm drains, or to any area like a drain or gutter to where drainage to sewards, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur
- in or on electrical equipment due to the possibility of shock hazard
Where to Use
- Use indoors (kitchens, bathrooms, doors & windows) and outdoors (perimeter foundations, garages, patios and decks, doors & windows).
When to Apply
- Use anytime as a preventative treatment or after evidence of insect activity.
How Often to Apply
- Re-treatment is recommended at least once per season (3 months) outdoors.

Works great but design flaw.

Works great. 3 settings. The first is HOT. I usually use the middle or low setting and they keep my cup warm and drinkable. There is a flaw though with this device. The warming button is so easy to touch /come on that several times on my desk, it has come on without me realizing it from paper hitting it, a pen rolled against it or simply moving it over and it is on highest setting when it comes on so I have burned my fingers now twice. I just always double and triple check it isn’t on.

Powerful Mug Warmer with Excellent Heat Output and Large Heating Surface

CAUTION: Unplug when not using. It is very easy to activate or turn on by mistake. Simply brushing up next to it will turn it on.
Nonetheless, I use this SWEETFULL coffee mug warmer every morning and afternoon. It’s usually one of the first things I turn on so I can preheat my latte cup before pulling espresso. I like my lattes very hot, and preheating the cup helps prevent heat loss during extraction. I also use it as a candle warmer as an alternative to open flame, which I prefer for indoor air quality.
The heat output is impressive. Even on the lowest setting, it gets very hot and reaches usable temperature quickly. The large heating surface is a major advantage. My latte and cappuccino cups have a wide mouth, and this warmer heats the entire base evenly rather than just the center, which makes a noticeable difference in temperature retention.
Warm-up time is reasonable, though slightly faster heating would make it even better, especially during busy mornings when I’m trying to get out the door. That said, it’s not slow enough to be a real drawback, and once it’s hot, it performs consistently.
Overall, this is a strong performer that does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s a great option for coffee lovers who want hotter drinks for longer, and for candle users who prefer a flame-free, cleaner alternative inside the home.

Best mug warmer I have tried

I am retired and use my mug warmer pretty much all day. I normally start my day with a cup of coffee and then switch to tea the rest of the day. Even when I work on projects around the house or leave to run errands, there is a cup of something on the warmer. So there is basically a mug on the warmer from 7 am until midnight making a good quality mug warmer a necessity.
I have tried two other mug warmers and with mixed results. The others I tried both turned on automatically activated by the weight of the mug which I did like. However, there we a few times when I left a mug on the warmer overnight so that design has it's flaws, and now that I have tried it, I prefer the four hour auto shut off feature of this model. I also like the three temperatures settings....a lot. The high temp setting (and it's hot) comes in real handy when you need to reheat a mug's contents after it shuts off when left unattended. I also use it when I make instant oatmeal in a ceramic bowl that has a thick bottom and it keeps the contents hot. Plus the middle and low end settings are nice so you can change the temperature of the contents to suit your mood.
One design feature I have really come to appreciate is the no slip bottom. This mug warmer stays put and does not slide around on the table top. A real nice feature if you have furniture made from wood or other finish that might otherwise get scratched.
The soft touch switch on this mug warmer blends in with the wood design of the model I have which does make it a bit harder to see, especially in low light settings. However, it is directly opposite the power cord so I have gotten use to locating it by feel and activating it by a swipe of one finger....it's pretty cool once you get used to it. Plus the indicator light is easy to see and know what setting the warmer is on.
After having used this mug warmer for a while now I have really come to appreciate the quality and features this unit has for the price. The others I tried were as much as $10 more and not nearly as nice...and obviously did not last very long. One thing worth pointing out is the hot setting is very hot. If you have small toddlers in the house who use things to help them stand up and balance, this might not be the best model to choose. But that is the only real negative I can think of really. In my opinion, and this is all about that, this is a great mug warmer at any price point and I can recommend it without hesitation.

Worth more than $20 I paid!

I was very surprised with how expensive this felt and looked while still being affordable. It has several levels and kept my coffee hot. I love my coffee really hot and this kept it there for hours. Word of advice not all coffee cups will work it needs to be all ceramic or glass and cup handle will get hot.
